The two-day tour will use “The Twelve Days of Christmas” as the theme, with 12 inns on each day of the tour creating entertaining decorations and scenes based on the song’s whimsical verses.  From “a partridge in a pear tree” to “eight maids a-milking,” all the way to “12 drummers drumming,” visitors will be immersed in the merry verses of this old English carol.

In addition to the decorations, each inn is paired with a distinguished St. Augustine restaurant or other culinary partner offering savory nibbles, sweet treats and other refreshments.  The self-guided tour is easily navigated on foot, but a special tour shuttle also will offer transportation along the tour route.

The 2012 St. Augustine Historic Inns association holiday tour is sponsored in part by the St. Johns County Tourist Development Agency and the St. Augustine Record, and is on the Southeast Tourism Society’s prestigious list of Top 20 Events for December.

The tour is a self-guided walking tour. When you pick up your tickets at Will Call the morning of the tour, you will receive a map of each day’s Inns on tour. You can begin at any Inn and go in any order.

There will be a trolley designated just for our tour, courtesy of Old Town Trolley. The trolley will stop at several locations along the tour route, however some walking is still required. There is no additional cost for this trolley.

If you have any questions about the tour, please email us at: sahistoricinns@yahoo.com
