Ever wondered about where an artist makes their creative magic happen? What is an artist’s studio really like and who are the people who create within those walls? Just what happens in these unique havens of creativity?

“Off the Beaten Path Florida Arts Tour 2014” is a free, self-guiding tour through Central Florida visiting 12 “off the beaten path” artists’ studios and 5 esteemed not for profit centers.  Professional artists will open their studio doors to the public, exhibiting their work and giving insight and information on how the magic happens. Several of the 17 tour stops will have hands-on demonstrations. Truly a cultural adventure for art lovers, collectors, families and the holiday shopper.
 
This studio tour, always held on the first full weekend in December, is Saturday, December 6, from 10 AM to 5 PM and Sunday, December 7, from noon until 5 PM. After October 1st., you can download your tour map with GPS information from the tour website at www.FloridaArtsTour.com and plan to visit beautiful Lake County along picturesque “off the beaten path” roads!
